Cauliflower is not very nutritious, but it contains vitamin C in stable form. The climate of northern India supports its late sowing, therefore rather than one or two varieties four to six varieties can be sown.

The soil should be wet during sowing. The first irrigation should be done when seeds start growing. In the beginning irrigation should be done at the interval of 8-10 days later at the interval of 12-15 days.
