KPK’s are going to be initially established at Block
levels of any district and later the same will cascade down at
village levels. These centers are going to be coordinating point
to initiate all development activities in the rural segment
and self equipped with regards to: Basic office infrastructure,
Communication equipments, Computers, Connectivity to internet,
Generator set, Training Room with aids of training, Small
warehouse/store to keep products and literature, Small pantry
and Water cooler and desert coolers. The estimated cost per
center will workout to be around 1.5 L. Besides this margin money
requirements i.e. working capital requirements in the first
quarter would be Rs. 1.0 L by which time it is expected that
the center will attain the level of self-sustenance.
