Honeydew melon is a juicy fruit, liked by all in summer. In some parts they are produced at river banks by placing fencing.

Sowing can be done from December to January. Safety measures are done on river banks while sowing. In other places sowing is done in February and early March.
Good yield can be achieved by mixing fertilizer in sandy soil.

In ground regions sowing can be done from mid February to first week of March and on the river banks in December or January by applying safety measures, by growing plants in plastic bags.

30 tons of decomposed manure, 400 kg Calcium Amonium Nitrate or 200 kg Urea, 300 kg Super Phosphate and 100 kg Murate of Potash should be used in one hectare area. Do not use any type of manure in the flowering stage.
